Pediatric First Aid Training

This 1-day training is intended for those working with children in either childcare, daycare, coaching and/or those who want to learn infant, child and adult CPR and First Aid. This fun, interactive class will involve so many practical and role plays that you will be able to recall the steps to CPR and how to care for various First Aid injuries including choking, burn, bleedings & wound, amputated fingers, how to assess a broken bone.

Objectives of the Course:

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:

1. Perform Basic Life Support Skill such as CPR & Choking for Adult & Infant.

2. Understand the importance of Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to increase survival rate.

3. Render First Aid Management for various injuries such as bleeding, burn, fracture and etc.

4. Understand systematic approach to survey & diagnose patient.

The teachers were doing CPR hands-on experience which is essential in saving life for infants. There are steps that need to be in measure when doing this life saving technique.

The Assessment
The Assessment session later was conducted by the assessor to ensure that the participants understand the topic delivered during theory hours. Participants were given a set of questions on steps how to save infants lives and they have to demonstrate in front of the assessor.

Mock Drill
This is where the participants having an Experiential Learning of what they have taught in the class by the trainer. They were divided into two groups and was given a different scenario for each group. From tackling a bleeding and fractured bone victim to saving a life of a suicidal person.
